About the Author
HELLO,
I'm Cosette Verga
I’ve always been a storyteller.
For most of my life, those stories lived quietly in my imagination—vivid worlds and characters tucked safely away, built during long stretches of daydreaming as an introverted, neurodivergent girl with a deep inner life. Writing wasn’t something I shared. It was something I carried.
Everything changed the year I chose to walk away from a life that was breaking me.
Choosing peace wasn’t easy, but it opened the door to something unexpected: freedom. And in that freedom, the stories I’d been holding back came rushing in. One idea became many. Daydreams became drafts. What began as survival slowly turned into joy.
With the encouragement of my two teenage daughters—my biggest cheerleaders—I began writing what would become my debut fantasy romance series, Fated. I wrote the way I was healing: intuitively, emotionally, breath by breath. The books grew as I did. Seven novels later, I didn’t just find my voice—I found my purpose.
My stories are rooted in love, resilience, grief, forgiveness, and hope. I write fantasy that centers emotional truth, found family, and the kind of love that doesn’t save you by force—but by staying.
Outside of writing, I’m studying psychology and advocating for mental health—work shaped by lived experience and a deep respect for the resilience of the human mind and heart. I’m also raising seven incredible children alongside four very chaotic cats, in a life that is full, loud, and deeply loved.
I believe in soft magic, hard choices, and second chances.
I write for readers who find comfort in fiction. For anyone who’s ever had to choose themselves. And for those who still believe it’s possible to rewrite your story—no matter how late the chapter feels.
